Briefing on the Preparation for the 2024 Sample Area Framework Survey (KSA) and Enumeration

In the context of implementing the Paddy Enumeration Survey based on the Sample Area Framework (KSA) using Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) through the Fasih Application, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in Cilacap Regency conducted a field officer briefing.

The briefing took place on Monday, January 15, 2024 (Wave I), and Tuesday, January 16, 2024 (Wave II), at the BPS Office in Cilacap Regency. The participants included Field Supervisors (PML) and Field Enumeration Officers (PPL).

What is the Paddy Enumeration Survey?

The paddy enumeration survey is one of the routine activities carried out by BPS to collect data on the productivity of food crops, especially paddy commodities.

This survey is conducted concurrently with the harvest time by farmers. The briefing serves as a platform for refreshing the material and the use of the Fasih application, as well as a space for discussing any challenges faced by field officers in previous surveys. The goal is to ensure that the officers can generate high-quality data
