The number of poor people in Cilacap in March 2024 was 191.00 thousand (10.99 percent). In March 2023, the number of poor people was 186.08 thousand (10.68 percent), indicating an increase of 4.92 thousand people or a decrease of 0.31 percentage points.

Between March 2023 and March 2024, the poverty line (GK) increased by 5.17 percent, from Rp. 419,429 per capita per month in March 2023 to Rp. 441,093 per capita per month in March 2024.

During the period from March 2023 to March 2024, the Poverty Depth Index (P1) increased from 1.54 in March 2023 to 1.59 in March 2024. In contrast, the Poverty Severity Index (P2) remained stagnant at 0.35.
