Abstract

The economy of Central Java, measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices for the second quarter of 2015, reached IDR 251,168.8 billion, while at constant 2010 prices, it amounted to IDR 201,215.6 billion. The economy of Central Java grew by 4.8 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2015, an increase compared to 4.2 percent in the same period of 2014. From the production side, the highest growth was recorded in the Corporate Services sector, which grew by 11.6 percent. On the expenditure side, the Export of Goods and Services component experienced a growth of 9.6 percent.
