Abstract

In September 2021, the level of income inequality in Central Java, as measured by the Gini Ratio, was 0.368, a decrease of 0.004 compared to March 2021, which stood at 0.372.
According to the World Bank's measure of inequality, the distribution of the bottom 40% of expenditures stands at 18.54%, categorizing it as a low level of inequality.
When broken down by region, urban areas recorded 17.45%, also classified as low inequality. For rural areas, the figure stands at 20.34%, similarly classified as low inequality.
