Abstract

  • The poverty line in September 2021 was recorded at Rp 423,264.00 per capita per month, with food poverty at Rp 317,519.00 per capita per month (75.02%) and non-food poverty at Rp 105,745.00 per capita per month (24.98%).
  • Compared to March 2021, the number of urban poor in September 2021 decreased by 61.24 thousand (from 1.91 million in March 2021 to 1.85 million people), while the number of rural poor decreased by 114.51 thousand (from 2.20 million people in March 2021 to 2.09 million people).
  • In September 2021, on average, poor households in Central Java Province had 4.21 household members. The poverty line for poor households averaged Rp 1,781,941.00 per household per month.
