April 2022 Cilacap City experienced inflation of 1.68 percent

Abstract

In April 2022 in Cilacap City there was an inflation of 1.68 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.08. This inflation is higher than March 2022 which experienced inflation of 1.19 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.26.
The main cause of inflation in Cilacap City is the rising price of gasoline, cooking oil, purebred chicken, greasy pastries, and cars. Meanwhile, the main commodities that restrained the inflation rate in Cilacap City were the falling prices of rice, red chilies, shallots, tomatoes, and chayote/jipang.
The inflation rate for the calendar year April 2022 is 3.64 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (April 2022 to April 2021) is 5.10 percent.
