Abstract

The export value of Central Java in August 2023 was US$ 885.75 million or an increase of 2.38 percent compared to exports in July 2023. However, compared to August 2022 exports decreased by 13.18 percent.
  • The import value of Central Java in August 2023 was US$ 1,241.26 million or an increase of 4.78 percent compared to imports in July 2023. However, when compared with August 2022 imports decreased by 21.40 percent.
  • The total trade balance value in August 2023 experienced a deficit of US$ 355.51 million. The oil and gas sector had a deficit of US$ 511.73 million, whereas the non-oil and gas sector had a surplus of US$ 156.22 million.
