Abstract

In November 2024, Cilacap experienced a year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation rate of 1.54 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.23.
The y-o-y inflation occurred due to price increases reflected in the rise of nearly all expenditure group indices, as follFood, beverages, and tobacco group by 2.02 percent,Clothing and footwear group by 0.57 percent, Housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 2.02 percent, Household equipment, appliances, and routine household maintenance group by 0.51 percent, Health group by 2.86 percent, Transportation group by 0.33 percent, Education group by 1.78 percent, Food and beverage/restaurant services group by 1.22 percent, and Personal care and other services group by 4.81 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure groups that experienced deflation or a decrease in indices were: Information, communication, and financial services group by 0.63 percent, and Recreation, sports, and cultural activities group by 0.56 percent.
The month-to-month (m-t-m) inflation rate was 0.30 percent, while the year-to-date (y-t-d) inflation rate for Cilacap in November 2024 reached 1.30 percent.
