Abstract

The total labor force in Cilacap Regency in August 2024 reached 1,079,926 people, an increase of 33,259 people compared to the labor force in August 2023. Similarly, the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) increased by 1.35 percentage points, reaching 67.95 percent in August 2024.
The open unemployment rate (OUR) in August 2024 was 7.83 percent, a decrease of 0.91 percentage points compared to August 2023.
The number of employed persons was 995,407, an increase of 40,250 people from August 2023.
Of the employed population, 691,384 people (69.46 percent) worked in the informal sector, an increase of 17,387 people compared to August 2023.
