Harvest Area and Rice Production in Cilacap Regency 2023

The Integrated Agricultural Statistics Data Collection for Food Crops using the Area Sampling Frame (KSA) method is a collaborative activity conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in partnership with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN), which have now merged into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG).This activity is part of a national project aimed at supporting the achievement of one of the national priorities: food security, to improve food statistics. It has been implemented nationwide since 2018. The main objective of this initiative is to generate objective and scientific data on rice harvest areas, utilizing the latest technology to ensure that the collected rice production data is more accurate, timely, and relevant.The publication "Harvest Area and Rice Production in Cilacap Regency 2023" presents information regarding the results of the KSA data collection conducted in 2023, specifically focusing on rice harvest areas and production as well as rice output for the year. It is hoped that this publication will provide benefits to data users.
