Improving public health and nutrition is one of the key priorities of the Indonesian Government in support of achieving national development goals. In line with this commitment, the government is implementing the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) as a strategic initiative to enhance community welfare through targeted nutritional interventions.
To comprehensively assess the program’s impact, a special survey is required to evaluate the effects of MBG on economic, labor, and social indicators. The BPS of Central Java Province organized a training session for enumerators of the Special Survey on Evaluation and Monitoring of the MBG Program from Wednesday to Saturday, June 11–14, 2025. The training was conducted in two batches and held online via Zoom Meeting.
This training, attended by all enumerators across Central Java Province, was officially opened by the Acting Head of BPS Central Java Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih. Endang stated that in 2025, the Special Survey on Evaluation and Monitoring of the MBG Program would be conducted twice—in June and November 2025.
The survey respondents are divided into two main groups. First, MBG program implementers, including the Program Implementation Teams (SPPG), suppliers, schools and MBG beneficiaries, comprising households and students.
