Abstract

Cilacap Regency's Economy in 2024 Grew by 2.65 Percent
Cilacap Regency's Economy in Q4-2024 Grew by 1.96 Percent (Y-on-Y)
Cilacap Regency's Economy in Q4-2024 Contracted by -4.53 Percent (Q-to-Q)
The economy of Cilacap Regency in the fourth quarter of 2024, based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices (ADHB), reached IDR 33,120.27 billion, while at constant prices (ADHK) 2010, it amounted to IDR 25,476.97 billion.
Cilacap Regency's economy in 2024 (c-to-c) recorded positive growth of 2.65 percent, slowing compared to the 5.34 percent growth in 2023. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the tertiary sector, at 6.44 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest increase was recorded in the Government Consumption Expenditure (PK-P) component, which grew by 8.51 percent.
Compared to the same period in 2023, Cilacap Regency's economy in Q4-2024 grew by 1.96 percent (y-on-y). From the production perspective, growth was driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth recorded in the tertiary sector at 5.33 percent. On the expenditure side, the highest increase was observed in the PK-P component, which grew by 9.99 percent.
Meanwhile, compared to Q3-2024 (q-to-q), the economy of Cilacap Regency in Q4-2024 contracted/experienced negative growth of -4.53 percent. From the production side, the deepest contraction occurred in the primary sector, declining by -18.69 percent. On the expenditure side, the component experiencing contraction was Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB), which decreased by -0.91 percent.
Structurally, the secondary sector dominated the economic structure of Cilacap Regency in Q4-2024, contributing 63.22 percent. On the expenditure side, the economy was dominated by the Household Consumption Expenditure (PK-RT) component, which contributed 46.26 percent.
