Consumer Price Index Developments in Cilacap – June 2025

In June 2025, Cilacap recorded a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 2.18 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) reaching 108.05. This y-on-y inflation was mainly driven by price increases across nearly all expenditure groups, including: food, beverages, and tobacco; clothing and footwear; housing, water, electricity, and household fuels; health; transportation; education; food and beverage provision/restaurants; and personal care and other services. In contrast, deflation was observed in the following groups: household equipment, appliances, and routine maintenance; information, communication, and financial services; and recreation, sports, and culture. The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.43 percent, while the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Cilacap in June 2025 stood at 1.19 percent.
